Scamper for Sea Science Second Annual Virtual 5k Clean-Up

Please join us for The Next Swell's second annual virtual 5k clean-up event! Anytime, Anywhere. We invite all participants to a combination 5K and public space clean-up; be it a beach, river or stream side, park, neighborhood, etc.

While a normal 5K has participants racing for time, ours is focused on bettering our home and raising money for student scholarships! And, instead of a real, in person race where you have to meet up at the crack of dawn (gross!), head outside to wherever you'd like, anytime you'd like between July 16th and September 5th, 2021.

Once you register, we will send you a Trash Data Sheet, so you can record all of the trash you pick-up along the way. But, once you're done, don't forget to snap a photo and email it back to info@thenextswell.org, so we can see how much trash we were all able to pick up together! Teamwork makes the dream work!

And, don’t forget to snap some photos of your clean-up to tag us in! #thenextswell #scamperforseascience.
