Please join us for The Next Swell's inaugural (socially distanced) event! Anytime, Anywhere. We invite all participants to a combination 5K and public space clean-up; be it a beach, river or stream side, park, neighborhood, etc.
While a normal 5K has participants racing for time, ours is focused on bettering our home and raising money for student scholarships! And, instead of a real, in person race where you have to meet up at the crack of dawn (gross!), head outside to wherever you'd like, anytime you'd like between the November/December timeframe.
Once you register, we will send you a Trash Data Sheet, so you can record all of the trash you pick-up along the way. But, once you're done, don't forget to snap a photo and email it back to info@thenextswell.org, so we can see how much trash we were all able to pick up together! Teamwork makes the dream work!
And, don’t forget to snap some photos of your clean-up to tag us in! #thenextswell #scamperforseascience.
